Production Management – Operative Project Management

1 year, 40 weeks

All full-time education programs are in Swedish.

Introduction
In the diploma course: Production Management – Operative Project Management, you will learn how to make order of things! The focus is on the tactical and operative aspects of handling people, information, logistics and economics at the same time. The education teaches the skills necessary for resource planning and organization regardless of whether the project in hand deals with print based works, web/film production, advertising, event marketing, information campaigns or complex integrated marketing and communication projects.

The projects/production manager is often the person who oversees the quality control of projects at both ends; within an advertising or communications agency he is the link between creativity, production and the client.

Diploma Education Contents
The education is organized into a number of distinct courses in economics, law, marketing English, media, advertising and communication, resource management, logistics, production management, project development, media production for traditional and new media. This education also provides a basic introduction in marketing-related aspects of communication, business economics and business law.

Course Structure
The education consists of a one year full-time study. Beyond scheduled lecture times, students should estimate about 12 hours per week of self-study. The pedagogical form of the course is a mixture of lectures, seminars, workshops and group projects. A large-scale examination project runs parallel with the courses in the final term.

The education places an emphasis on working over traditional disciplines and students work directly with students from other school departments.
