New Sales Project Manager in Finland

We welcome our newest member of the Berghs crew and our first employee abroad Laura Hyytiainen who has started as our new Sales Project Manager in Finland. Laura has ten years experience of the Finnish advertising industry, having worked as an Account Director as well as Marketing Communicator.

How do you feel starting a brand new position at Berghs?
It’s absolutely great! I’ve heard so many good things about Berghs School of Communication.

Did you know anything about Berghs before?

I knew the school by name and its excellent reputation, only good things. What really struck me, the first time I visited Berghs, was that it is such a big school with many participants – over 3000 per year.

What does your role involve?

To represent Berghs in Finland as sales and project manager, which means promoting Berghs reputation in Finland as well as growing the business. This involves filling the open courses with people from the industry and also offering customized solutions of communication training.

What’s your opinion of communication training in Finland?
There is a big gap of this kind of education in Finland compared to what the market needs. I mean – close to reality, action based learning held by teachers from the communication industry.

What can we expect in the future from Berghs in Finland?
More open courses, day based workshops and specialized courses. Growing on demand!
