About the Course
The professional development course Design Management targets designers, strategists and marketing professionals who want to explore the linkages between business strategy and design. How can design, designers and design thinking help organizations generate customer insights, uncover business opportunities, develop innovative solutions, build brand equity, and ultimately create real value for customers and other stakeholders?
Course Structure
Two+two days (totally four days) plus independent study time approximately four hours between occasions.
Course Content
- Business strategy and design
- Brand strategy and design
- Innovation strategy and design
- Design thinking (design methodology and processes)
The four-day course will cover the following design areas/disciplines: brand design (visual identity design), product design, packaging design, service design, and experience design. The participants are required to carry out (in groups of three of four) a fairly extensive project.

Requirements for application
The course is designed for professional designers, creatives, planners, strategists, project managers, account directors or the like working either on the consultancy side or on the client side (typically in a design, innovation or marketing department). Your ambition is to become a strategic design thinker who bridges the gap between business strategy and design.
