Doctors without borders - Malaria

The brief was to explore ways of creating communication for a non-profit organization and we decided to work with Doctors Without Borders. We wanted to show people what actually happens with the money they donate and chose to focus on malaria. This resulted in a guerilla campaign where we put mosquito-nets in public places such as over the so called “mushroom” in central Stockholm and over people’s bicycle saddles. Hopefully to raise money and awareness about the terrible desease that every minute causes the death of two children in Africa.

But every minute two children dies from malaria in Africa, even though the treatment only costs 5 SEK. Help us protect them instead.

House of Leaf is an independent artist playing rock music in Swedens underground scene. Altough playing as a guitarist in several well known bands for almost a decade, making it as a solo artist can be tough. The music business is highly competitive and getting a foot in the door can be notoriously difficult.

By approaching the problem in a different way we wanted to find out if we could speed up the process and at the same time show unsigned artists an alternative way in to the scene. Here is the result: http://vimeo.com/35138831
