About the Course

Introduction, online
The course starts with an online introduction to Creativity and Innovation, and with an introduction to the process ahead of you. You connect online, on a conference call, to meet with your classmates, learn from inspiring communication cases, and set the ground rules for collaboration within your team.

Week 1 on-site: IDEATION
When you start your IRL course at Berghs, you hit the ground running. You meet your client for your project briefing and start working on your case from day one. Through a series of classes, you learn about creative problem solving and innovation processes. You are also given practical tools for ideation. The course week ends with a workshop where course participants are guided through testing and refining their creative solution.

Week 2 on-site: EXECUTION
During the second course week, you execute your idea and prepare for your client presentation. In class, you learn a series of tools for designing and prototyping your idea.
A second workshop helps you select the right tools and apply them to your specific case.
The course ends with a final presentation where you pitch your project in front a client and receive feedback.
Before you leave school, the class agrees on a date for an additional conference call.

Final conference call, online
After a few weeks, you join a final conference call to present your project again and show how you have improved it based on the feedback you received. The course ends with a final project review.
