Tuition fee

The tuition fee is the fee set by Berghs School of Communication to be paid for the whole semester at Berghs.

The invoice will be sent to you by e-mail. The tuition fee (including Swedish VAT) must be paid by the final day of payment stated on the invoice.

Registration fee

Once you have been accepted to the program and wish to accept the offer, you will have to pay a registration fee consisting of 10% of the tuition fee at Berghs.

The last day of resignation and for paying the registration fee will be (according to Swedish ångerrätt) 14 days after that you have accepted the offer to the program. The registration fee will later be deducted from the tuition fee.

If you do not wish to accept the offer and fail to give notice in time, Berghs will invoice you the registration fee of 10%. The registration fee is non-refundable.

Once you have started the program you have also agreed to pay the full tuition fee.

Payment

It is always the student who has financial responsibility towards the school. For example, if your employer is covering the cost but does not fulfill its liability to the school, the payment responsibility is transferred to you personally.

The invoice for the registration fee and tuition fee should be settled at the specified date, at the latest. A reminder of payment is charged with a fee of 150 SEK and interest rate (base rate +8%). An unpaid registration fee and/or course fee on a specified date may result in the loss of the student’s right to participate in the program.

All participants, both Swedish and international, must pay Swedish VAT according to Swedish tax legislation.

Reimbursement of tuition fee

Paid tuition fees are non-refundable. Exceptions can be given in situations of long-term illness, supported by a medical certificate, and an application should be made in writing to Berghs School of Communication.

Study break

A study break is not granted but might be approved due to long-term illness and shall then be confirmed by a medical certificate.

The right to make changes

Berghs reserves the right to make changes within the semester at Berghs.

We cannot take responsibility for changes in the terms and conditions that may be applied by our partner institutions in other countries. Studies are to be done during the semester you are enrolled in. A study break is only allowed in case of illness and shall be confirmed by a medical certificate.
