Current Job

Head of Brand & Communications at Veo Technologies, a sports-tech startup. I'm based in Copenhagen and have business in the UK and the USA.

Background

I am an experienced instructor, a proud TED Talk alumnus, and a former amateur American Football player and coach. As Head of Brand & Communications at Veo Technologies, I'm democratising AI pattern recognition in team sports, bringing elite-level tools to players at every level.

For over a decade, I have worked as a brand consultant together with leading adverting agencies and multi-national brands. I led the People's Puskás to 1.2m+ global votes, winning Clio Gold, Clio Silver and Creative Moment's Sports Campaign of the Year 2025. Previously consulted for Ferrari F1, Nike, Xbox, McCann and Leo Burnett.

Featured in the IPSOS documentary "Everyday Elitism" and I write the cultural strategy newsletter No Gatekeeping. I lecture at Hyper Island and Berghs School of Communication, and in 2025 delivered my second TEDx talk, "The Generation That Eliminated Impossible."

What inspires you?

Meeting anyone at the top of their profession; I always learn something from how they think and how they work. Young people inspire me too; their energy and appetite for new ideas is infectious.

Do you have any hobbies/what do you do in your free time?

I'm a sports addict, following everything from American Football to mixed martial arts. Outside of that, I travel for new cultural experiences, food and art especially.

Why did you choose to become a Course Director at Berghs?

I'd been teaching for years but never had the chance to work with professionals, helping them grow their careers through extra learning. Shaping a course that's run this long and stayed this popular is immensely gratifying.

Do you have a role model?

Outside my family, I've become a huge fan of Kylian Mbappé. His consistent, vocal stance against racism and other issues stands out among peers who aren't as quick to call out what's wrong.

Tell us about a fun memory from Berghs!

One lesson opened with news that a student had landed their dream job using exactly what we'd covered in the first few weeks of the course. By the end of term it had happened to two more, and in the months after, two more again. That was cool.

Do you have a career tip you would like to share?

Always have a hypothesis you're willing to stress test and revise. "I think…" or "I feel…" beats "I don't know…", unless you genuinely don't know but are willing to learn.

What don't we know about you?

I write my N's backwards…

Hidden talent?

The ability to eat far too much good sushi, if it's on offer.
