Case study: DN to go

I det här examensprojektet fick avgångsstudenterna i uppdrag att stärka Dagens Nyheters digitala erbjudande och produktutbud i syfte att få fler lojala, digitala, prenumeranter. Lösningen blev DN To Go - ett verktyg där prenumeranterna kan läsa, lyssna eller titta på nyheterna genom en app.

Dagens Nyheter is a newspaper founded back in 1864, providing Sweden with quality journalism everyday.

THE BRIEF

How can we strengthen the digital product of Dagens Nyheter in order to gain more loyal, digital subscribers?

THE IDEA

We want to include a younger target group who wants to read the news but don’t have the time. So we created DN TO GO – a tool for portable news – where subscribers can read, watch or listen to Dagens Nyheter anywhere, anytime. By creating a smooth news consumption, more people can stay well informed and Dagens Nyheter can prove that they are not just a newspaper – but a builder of society.
