About Interactive Communication

Digital Director/Digital Creative is a one-year education that gives students a platform on how to utilize digital logics, turning them into relevant marketing solutions. Students learn how the contemporary techniques of interactive executions function regardless of language, geography or culture and how it function as a driver and innovator for other marketing channels and methods. The program is set-up so aspiring creative’s and strategists/planners can study side by side, will having some separate courses in order to deepen their knowledge in core areas.
The education provides the knowledge base and toolkit, allowing students to work professionally at agencies as web strategists, digital planners, Interactive Art Directors or brand managers in both public and private organizations. 
This education is executed in Swedish and accepts Scandinavian students only. 

Diploma Education Contents

The education is based around three blocks; Digital innovation, Digital communication landscape and Digital Channels, where the students are educated on the methods, tools and executions utilizing digital communication as the starting point. 
This divides the education into a series of courses in; Innovation as a communication tool, Interactive branding, Interactive campaigns, Digital planning, Technical development, Service design, Idea and concept development, Content management and Information design. 
Course Structure
Berghs Interactive Communication – Digital Direcor/Digital Creative program is entirely in English. The education is one year of full-time studies that runs for one year Monday-Friday 09.00 – 16.00 but also evenings and weekends. The pedagogical form of the program is a mixture of lectures, seminars, workshops and group projects. A large-scale examination project runs parallel with the courses in the final term.
The education places an emphasis on integration with the traditional communication disciplines and students work directly with students from the other school departments.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must have a completed high-school/college education with good grades in English. Students should have at least one-year relevant professional experience from the professional workplace and experience of working with both Mac and PC computer platforms, where students with a creative focus should have a basic knowledge of the Adobe programs. Students must also complete a number of entry assignments in their application.
Your application must be submitted on-line, in which you need to include the following:
A complete digital application document
A short summary of yourself - maximum one A4 page - where you promote why you wish to study Interactive Communication at Berghs
A summary of earlier educations/courses and work experience
Copies of grades and certificates
Solutions to the application assignments
The Interactive Communication program is executed in both Swedish and English, but all students must understand Swedish. If you want to study at Berghs you need to complete an application assignment. Below you can read about the assignments and watch a film with the program directors explaining what profiles they are looking for to the program. If your assignments pass you will be contacted for an interview with the program directors.
If you apply to any of Berghs scholarships, April 3 is the last application date and you will get notified of your success early May. 
Interactive Internship Program
After graduating from your year at Berghs, you are eligable to apply to the Interactive Internship Program, which is a partnership program between R/GA and Berghs. The program includes a 12 month payed internship at R/GA offices globally.
