Einride

How can a logistic company tap in to the fashion industry? The answer: With an app and photo booths on wheels!

CHALLENGE
The brief’s challenge is to come up with an idea and campaign that taps Einride into the category and community of fashion to build a brand that people can relate to, like and engage with.

SOLUTION
What?
The idea is to optimize and guide NYFW attendees to more sustainable routes during NYFW by extending and re-shaping the Saga platform. The idea is driven by two PR-activations, one digital (an app) and one physical (photo booths). The primary target group for the campaign is NYFW attendees and the public.

How?
The campaign is based on the launch of an app (“Saga”), available for NYFW attendees. Saga works as such that it optimizes the user's travels to, from and during NYFW in the most environmentally-efficient way. Additionally to the launch of Saga, Einride will host photo booths (“Studio Pods”) during NYFW, where attendees and the public can enter the pods and take photos to share on their social media together with Einride’s logo.

Why?
The idea serves to enlighten people about the fashion industry’s negative impact on the environment and the possibilities that electrifying the logistical chains of companies can have on our futures. Saga helps NYFW attendees choose the most environmentally-efficient transportation during NYFW. The Studio Pods serve as an accessory to the campaign with the purpose to address sustainability as an issue to the public and further spread Einride’s name.

RESULT
The campaign raises awareness for Einride during NYFW. By engaging NYFW attendees and the public, Einride enables getting earned media attention, hopefully enough to be mentioned in 500 articles. Saga will specifically increase transparency in supply chains as attendees will experience Einride’s solutions. Einride will expand their brand community and as they do so, the fashion community can start putting pressure on decision makers in the fashion industry, which enables Einride to attract new customers and strengthen their position in the freight industry.
